Exploring Bouquet Styles: From Traditional Elegance to Whimsical Cascades

Embark on a captivating journey as we share the enchanting world of bridal bouquet styles. We’ll showcase the endless beauties that grace the pages of Pinterest and Instagram - we know you love them!

Our curated list embraces many designs, from timeless traditions to ethereal cascades and embracing the allure of organic beauty. Let’s dive in and discover the bouquet style that resonates with your heart!

Traditional Round

Typical Bride is classic, elegant, and enjoys a traditional style.

Traditional round bouquets are what you’ve seen for ages. They are tight and very rounded in shape. There is no movement or flowiness and often composed of traditional roses and minimal greenery. Hint: if you like the idea of a round bouquet but want it to be flowy, check out our Non-Structured Round description below!

Structured Oval

Typical bride likes timeless designs but wants to add a slightly modern twist.

A structured oval shape is similar to a traditional round bouquet but has a litttllleee more uniqueness. Usually, this shape fits best for a non-structured style, but we can make it work!

Hand-Tied

Typical bride enjoys casual design that feels natural and simple but chic.

Usually, our clients want this when they say they want a “round but flowy” bouquet. When you want your bouquet to have a natural flow but still incorporate that structure, this is the style for you! Make sure you bring reference photos. Though many of these styles look the same, slight differences can transition you from a Hand-Tied bouquet to a Non-Strutured bouquet!

Non-Structured

Typical bride is laid-back, fun, and is usually willing to let the designer run free with different styles!

(This is my personal favorite style!!) You can pretty much do anything with these bouquets, and they usually take on a shape of their own which is so much fun! I love playing around with the depth, textures, and how to make these style bouquets shine.

Non-Structured Oval

Typical bride is whimsical, modern, and boho - but also classic!

I adore these bouquets. They can be tighter in shape or reaaalllyy flowy, depending on your preference and flower choices. I always love doing this style bouquet for my boho and modern brides who want to take a more artistic approach to their bridal bouquet!

Non-Structured Round

Typical bride wants to achieve a classic look without going too traditional.

You read that right, and there is a “round” non-structured look! What this means is when you look down at it, it is FLOWYYYY, but it keeps its rounded shape.

Non-Structured Organic

Typical bride wants an organic and natural feel to her bouquet (Boho-brides, you’ll LOVE these!)

Often described by clients as “like I picked it right out of the garden!” this is best for the all-organic-inspired client. Due to the “picked right from the garden” nature of these bouquets, the flowers often stand up straight and look less “designed.”

Cascading

Typical bride is ready to bring the dramaaaaa and glam.

Before we get any further, we have to mention cascading bouquets start with a $100.00 upgrade regardless of what wedding floral package you choose with us. They require a LOT of flowers. It is also important to mention these bouquets are VERY heavy, but y’all, they’re stunning. If you want a cascading bouquet for your wedding day, hire an experienced florist; these babies are not beginner-friendly. It is also important that you hire a florist who can provide you with examples of cascading bouquets they’re done recently. You want to work with someone who can help you find a unique shape, make sure the bouquet flows the way you want, and ultimately, you want a florist who will execute your vision perfectly.

Semi-Cascading

Typical bride loves the idea of a cascading bouquet but doesn’t wants something more tame.

Semi-cascading bouquets are not a true cascade, and in fact, it’s not one at all! Typically, the clients who go with our semi-cascading bouquet style want an oval-shaped, loosely structured bouquet. It typically is a statement piece with a few vines or blooms that provide that cascading look (without the weight and price of a real cascading bouquet!)
