Equestrian Valentine’s Day Romance

Inspired by romance, true love, and the passion that ties it all together.

True Love Lives in a Place Like This

Happy Valentine’s Day!! We absolutely adore this day and wanted to spend it sharing alllllll the love. Recently, we partnered with some of Nashville's best wedding vendors to bring to life a vision that Magnolia Wedding Company had… an Equestrian Valentine’s Day wedding. It was absolutely PERFECT.

Though the plans for this shoot changed a few times we finally were able to join forces on a chilly day in Nashville… it was SO cold and had even snowed!! But we all powered through and the outcome was worth it. With our beautiful models and that STUNNING red gown by Salt Gowns, this dream wedding design came to life. Our hands may have been frozen but our hearts are full of warmth just reflecting on how amazing this day, this design and these vendors were.

Inspired by Lovers

When designing this shoot my three keywords were sexy, romantic, and desire! My goal was to give you the feeling of desire that runs through the veins of every romance. To achieve this goal we incorporated soft textures like our velvet runners and velvet envelopes. These elements soothe your sense of touch and allow you to imagine the warm fuzzy feeling true love sparks within you. A delicious display of fresh fruit, garlic bread, and red velvet cake invigorated the senses for an enchanting snack - perfect for Valentine’s Day!

The fragrant scent of fresh flowers filled the crisp barn and the golden light was the final detail needed to create the ultimate romantic dinner date ambiance. We styled a signature “Love Potion” drink made of champagne and a dash of sugar. Who doesn’t love a little something sweet to celebrate?! Overall, the goal for this shoot was to capture the true love and passion that floods through your veins. Falling in love is such a gift, we are so lucky to be surrounded by lovebirds every single day, and adore the opportunity we have to be inspired by our surroundings.

Working With Nashville’s Best Wedding Vendors

It is such an honor and blessing to work with incredibly talented individuals. When joining forces with a  planner, like Magnolia Wedding Company, for a styled shoot, you don’t always know who else you’ll be working alongside. Luckily, we were joined by some of Nashville’s favorites for this Valentine’s Day design.

When bringing a styled shoot to life, you spend a lot of quality time working alongside other vendors. It’s an exciting time and is often full of inspiration! We love being able to meet new creatives, especially those who work in the industry. We’ve had the absolute honor of making new friends and building our network. We truly couldn’t ask for anything better!

One of our favorite things about working with new creatives is pulling inspiration from each other. We all have various backgrounds across the wedding industry and often share advice and recommendations! A huge part of this industry is networking and styled shoots are such a fun way to do so! Not only can we form great relationships, but we all have content to add to our portfolios as well!

How We Pull Inspiration From Holidays

Floral design isn’t as easy as it looks and when our clients say they want to pull inspiration from their favorite holidays, that makes it a little more challenging! We absolutely LOVE designing around the holidays and pulling inspiration from timeless colors and themes; however, we are all for innovative floral design. Creating a unique design that not only suits our client's dreams but the holiday they love as well is a challenge we will always take.

It can be easy to fall into the cheesy cliches of green and red floral for a Christmas wedding or hot pink and deep red around Valentine’s Day. But there are ways to incorporate these infamous colors in a way that is modern and feels like a wedding. Our number one goal is to make our client’s dream wedding design come to life and sometimes that includes guiding them in the direction of their vision.

When a client wants to pull inspiration from a holiday we often ask them which elements of the holiday they want to incorporate the most. For some, it would be pumpkins and harvest vegetables, others may want pops of red and green incorporated in their floral design. Whatever the elements are, we find a way to mesh them with stylish floral designs to create an unforgettable holiday-inspired wedding design. Designing a wedding around your favorite holiday isn’t always everyone’s style, but if it is yours we would LOVE to help you bring it to life!
